The NEW LIFE initiative is committed to a sustainable circular economy. The climate-friendly recycling of used tyres results in high-quality recycled products for the sports and fitness industry.
The rubber granulate from used tyres is used to produce innovative flooring systems as well as edging, boards and sound insulation solutions for fitness studios, sports halls, outdoor playing fields, running tracks, climbing halls, ice skating rinks and more. Variable colours, shapes and designs open up a wide range of design options.
The joint-friendly, non-slip rubber flooring combines attractive design with outstanding functional sports properties - indoors and outdoors, in summer and winter.
The use of recyclable products helps to avoid waste, conserve natural resources, save CO2 emissions and reduce operating costs. This is because the sports and fitness products made from tyre rubber granules are durable, low-maintenance, easy to install and clean.
The robust, easy-care and water-resistant floor covering is suitable for universal use in fitness and weight training areas.
The universally applicable rubber flooring is characterised by its high load-bearing capacity and excellent resistance to mechanical impact. Thanks to the individually selectable colour gradations, the floor covering can be adapted to your colour preferences, increases walking comfort and reduces footfall and room noise.
The elastic rubber flooring made from used tyre rubber granulate creates the basis for perfect training conditions for cardio and equipment training in fitness studios.
The hard-wearing fitness floors have very good functional sports properties and are extremely comfortable. They offer customers/members a secure, firm footing during training and support the body during weight loads. The floors are non-slip, even in wet areas, and therefore also ensure safety in the gym.
The non-slip floor coverings make group fitness training safer and more comfortable for a wide range of classes.
Available in various colours, the fitness floors give course participants the support they need to perform their exercises safely. They are also the ideal, quick-to-lay surface for relaxation exercises of all kinds. The non-slip underside ensures a firm, stable grip on screeds or existing floor coverings - without the need for adhesives.
A floor made of tyre rubber granulate also cuts a sustainably attractive figure in entrance areas, hallways, corridors and changing rooms.
The extremely comfortable and non-slip floor coverings are suitable for high-traffic areas as they are very robust and hard-wearing. Lettering or logos can be applied to the floors, which are available in various colours, at the customer's request. Optionally, fitness floors can be sealed on site, which makes cleaning and maintenance even easier.
The weatherproof rubber floors are suitable as robust, water-resistant surfaces for outdoor areas of fitness studios, but also for sports and multi-purpose facilities.
The outdoor floors are characterised by their high load-bearing capacity and resistance to mechanical impact. On request, the floors can be combined with an additional elastic substructure. An integrated mesh protects the surface from damage. Highly compressed material gives athletes a secure footing.
The noise and vibrations generated by workouts, cardio, strength training etc. can be efficiently reduced by sound-absorbing floor systems.
Multi-layer system floors made of tyre rubber granules combine high acoustic effectiveness with good functional sports properties. They combine strength with elasticity, provide a pleasant walking sensation and are easy on the joints. Alternatively, a rubber granulate underlay can be used for impact sound insulation and decoupling.
To protect against injuries and accidents, edges, corners and steps can also be secured with edging/covering made of rubber granulate.
Edge and corner profiles made of tyre rubber granules allow safe, barrier-free access to fitness areas and the edging of play areas. Thanks to their bevelled edges, they reduce the risk of tripping when stepping onto play areas. Elegant polyurethane-coated angled covers reliably cover sharp edges.
Safety is the be-all and end-all when climbing. Safety rubber floors for climbing gyms meet the highest standards and are recommended by the German Alpine Club.
The system structure of the safety rubber flooring and the punctual force reduction minimise the risk of injury in the event of a fall - even at critical fall heights. The non-slip, seamless surface ensures a firm footing in any situation. The wear layer is very durable and resilient. The floors can even be driven on with cherry pickers.
Coloured fall protection mats and seamless fall protection surfaces made of tyre rubber granules allow for unadulterated fun when climbing, gymnastics, jumping and playing.
The elastic floor coverings made of offer reliable fall protection in the event of falls from a height of up to three metres. The barrier-free, seamless fall protection flooring can be applied to flat, curved or sloping surfaces. This enables the design of varied landscapes for movement-intensive play, climbing and gymnastics.
There are increased safety requirements in ice sports halls. Special winter sports floors made of rubber granulate prevent your guests from slipping unintentionally.
The flooring for walkways, entrance and exit zones to the ice rink, changing rooms and cash desk areas is robust, hard-wearing and also protects the surface from damage. Despite all the functionality, there is no shortage of comfort. Available in a variety of colours, the floors provide a high level of walking comfort, good sound insulation and reliable slip resistance.
Running tracks made of rubber granules are seamless, fast and spike-resistant. The Olympic stadiums in Berlin and Munich were equipped with running tracks from a NEW LIFE partner.
The tracks are characterised by their enormous load-bearing capacity. The seamless surface of the multi-layer structure consists of a solid polyurethane layer into which high-quality EPDM granules are incorporated. This makes the running surface fast and non-slip. An elastic substructure absorbs hard impacts on impact, which is easy on the musculoskeletal system and joints.
Ball sports with rackets challenge the whole body. Floor systems made of rubber granules support quick changes of direction and are easy on the musculoskeletal system.
The robust, durable court surfaces can cope with the diverse loads caused by rapid changes in movement. The elastic substructure protects the musculoskeletal system and joints and prevents injuries in the event of falls. For tennis and padel, the surfaces support high ball rebound behaviour. The low-maintenance floors are easy to install and clean.
Indoor floors made of rubber granules are the basis for optimum performance in ball sports, gymnastics, etc. The resilient floors offer a high level of comfort at concerts and events.
Rubber floors for sports halls are elastic and easy on the joints. Their structure enables good ball rebound behaviour, high elasticity and appropriate force reduction. The flooring systems for multifunctional arenas are extremely hard-wearing. They retain their shock-absorbing and elastic properties even under high loads from event visitors.
