The NEW LIFE initiative fördert die nachhaltige Verwertung von End-of-Life-Tyres (ELT) für langlebige, Produkte in der Gebäude- und Bauwirtschaft. Das recycelte Gummigranulat aus Altreifen ist ein hochwertiger Sekundärrohstoff zur Herstellung attraktiver, Lösungen aus Recyclingmaterial für den zukunftsweisenden Gebäudebau, aber auch für die ökologische Sanierung und Renovierung. Produkte aus recyceltem ELT-Gummigranulat sind je nach Ausführung witterungsbeständig, rutschfest und in unterschiedlichen Formen und Farben erhältlich.

On terraces, balconies, playgrounds and sports fields, the elastic, customisable floors protect against injuries and ensure safe movement. Floor coverings made of rubber powder and rubber granules are also increasingly being used by architects in indoor areas: For example, as fitness flooring, impact sound insulation, exhibition flooring or fall protection flooring in retirement homes and rehabilitation centres.
