Melos GmbH, based in Melle near Osnabrück, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of coloured plastic and EPDM rubber granules. With more than 250 employees, the company produces high-quality coloured granules across a 48,000 m² site. These are mainly used in the production of safety surfacing for playgrounds, running tracks in stadiums, infill for artificial turf and non-slip flooring for swimming pools.

In addition to its manufacturing operations, Melos GmbH operates a warehouse, administrative offices, a rigorous quality assurance programme and its own research laboratory at its Melle site.
