Sustainability at every turn: exhibition floors made from recycled rubber granulate

Sustainable exhibition floors

The German trade fair industry wants to become climate-neutral by 2040. Sustainability has been one of the requirements in tenders since 2023. Stand builders can make an important contribution to improving the carbon footprint of trade fair appearances by taking care to avoid waste, reusing products and favouring the use of durable recycled products.

For example, high-quality, reusable exhibition flooring made from recycled rubber granulate. Available in various colours, shapes and designs, the floors for exhibition stands, stages and events are durable, hard-wearing, non-slip, slip-resistant, sound-absorbing, easy on the joints and easy to install: https://initiative-new-life.de/loesungen/messebau/

By using recyclable flooring, stand builders and organisers are helping to avoid waste, conserve natural resources, reduce CO2 emissions and achieve the goal of climate neutrality in stand construction. The exhibition floors made from recycled rubber granulate from old tyres can be recycled again at the end of their life cycle and not only pay off ecologically, but also economically.

At THE TIRE COLOGNE 2024 from 4 to 6 June 2024, you will have the chance to experience sustainable exhibition floors made of tyre rubber granulate live. The 450 square metre stand of Allianz Zukunft Reifen (AZuR) in Hall 7 is covered with non-slip rubber mats that are pleasant to walk on. A puzzle click system enables floating installation and prevents the mats from slipping apart.
