The NEW LIFE sustainability competition for local authorities is entering the home straight. Cities, districts and municipalities only have until 15 September 2022 to secure a grant of 10,000 euros for a sustainable municipal project with high-quality recycled products made from rubber powder/rubber granulate (ELT).
By using sustainable products made from recycled tyres, resources can be conserved, CO2 emissions saved and waste avoided. In addition, the durable, weatherproof recycled products made from rubber powder and rubber granulate (ELT) require less maintenance and care. They can be used in a wide range of urban development applications:
- Equipping playgrounds, daycare centres or retirement homes with elastic fall protection flooring
- Attractive enhancement of public spaces and green areas with customisable flooring, paths, edging, decorative objects, etc.
- Equipping sports facilities with weatherproof, joint-friendly running tracks
- Protection of building roofs with photovoltaic systems and green roofs with weather-resistant building protection mats
- Road renovation with durable rubber-modified asphalt
- Sustainable emission protection with durable privacy and noise barriers and much more.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is provide a brief, informal description of a municipal project involving products made from sustainable recycled rubber that is to be realised in the coming years.
The NEW LIFE initiative is looking forward to your Competition participation and is looking forward to your sustainability project(s).
