NEW LIFE - A VISION HAS BECOME REALITY
Obtained from end-of-life tyres (ELT) Recycled materials such as rubber granules and powders are very flexible and widely applicable due to their various positive properties. All NEW LIFE partners process the recyclate in their companies in accordance with highest quality standards and use them to manufacture a wide variety of innovative products.
To be able to label products made from recycled materials, manufacturers must fulfil specific requirements. Experts from industry and associations have developed and agreed criteria so that recycled products can be labelled "NEW LIFE - Recycling product" are allowed to lead.
The NEW LIFE initiative awards two different labels for products made from secondary raw materials. If a product contains a proportion of at least 20 % Recycled materialthe manufacturer may use the label "NEW LIFE recycled product".
For products with a share of at least 80 % Recycling materials the manufacturer's products are awarded the "NEW LIFE Top Recycling Product" label category

Requirements for manufacturers
Companies wishing to support the NEW LIFE initiative in order to be able to label their own products with the "NEW LIFE recycled product" label must become partners of this campaign. Admission is decided by the Partner circle under the Umbrella organisation wdk.

Provisions for the award of the label
The "NEW LIFE Recycling Product" label must be requested individually by the partners of the initiative for each product or at least each product line.
The following criteria must be met:
- Product with rubber components from Recycled material
- Minimum proportion of recycled material in the total product: 20 %
- Top recycled products must have a minimum proportion of recycled material in the overall product of 80 % exhibit
If these criteria are met for each product or product line, the manufacturers receive a certificate that authorises them to use the label for the products submitted, for example for printing on packaging or use in mailings and online publications.
