NEW LIFE competition for local authorities: First sustainable projects submitted - deadline for entries extended until 15 September

First sustainable projects submitted - deadline for participation extended until 15 September

NEW LIFE has decided to extend the deadline for participation by one month to 15 September 2022 in order to give as many municipalities as possible the chance to secure a €10,000 grant for sustainable projects.

Some local authorities have already seized the opportunity to secure the prize money (7,000 euros for the winner and 3,000 euros for the runner-up) for the implementation of sustainable urban development measures using high-quality recycled products made from rubber granulate and rubber powder.

The town of Bedburg, for example, is planning to develop a model project with ELT recycling products. The purpose of the model project is to redesign and sustainably utilise a disused sports ground. All utilisation options are to be constructed from ecologically compatible building materials. Among other things, ELT safety floors from a NEW LIFE partner are to be used for this purpose.

To take part in the sustainability competition, all you need to do is provide a brief, informal description of a planned municipal project involving products made from sustainable recycled rubber.
