Last Xmas? Not with us! The NEW LIFE initiative is committed to the environmentally friendly recycling of used tyres into high-quality recycled products, and not just at Christmas time. Until Christmas Eve, the calendar presents 24 positive effects of used tyre recycling for the climate, environment, economy and society, door by door. The topics range from the sustainable environmental aspects of used tyre recycling (conserving resources, avoiding waste, reducing CO2-emissions, etc.) to the socio-economic benefits of the SME-based tyre recycling industry in Germany. In an appealing form, the Advent calendar also provides fresh inspiration for the many possible uses of recycled products made from tyre rubber granulate.
In order to secure the future of used tyre recycling and achieve the goals of the Green Deal, swift action is required at all political levels. That is why responsible politicians at federal, state and EU level were personally invited to discover the sustainable benefits and importance of used tyre recycling for the future in the Advent calendar.
