At THE TIRE COLOGNE trade fair from 4 to 6 June 2024, everything for the global tyre and wheel industry will revolve around the topic of sustainability. The Alliance for the Future of Tyres (AZuR), which is committed to the sustainable reuse and recycling of used tyres in line with the circular economy, will also be represented.

As an AZuR member, the NEW LIFE initiative is making a sustainable statement at this year's Cologne trade fair: NEW LIFE partner MRH Mülsen is equipping the floor of the 450 m2 AZuR stand in Hall 7 with a high-quality, robust, durable floor made of pure tyre rubber granulate. In contrast to conventional exhibition floors, which are usually disposed of after use, the durable floor made of non-slip rubber mats can be used several times. At the end of their life cycle, the mats can be completely recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. By using flooring made from recycled rubber granulate (available in thicknesses from 2 mm to 30 mm), the exhibition industry could take a big leap towards climate-friendly sustainability. A total of 16 AZuR partners will be providing information about the sustainable tyre cycle at the joint stand at THE TIRE COLOGNE 2024 and presenting environmentally friendly solutions such as the recycling products from the NEW LIFE initiative to the international audience. This time, all visitors will be able to see the quality of the innovative products for themselves.
