Joint commitment to climate protection

world climate day

On 8 December, the focus will once again be on an issue that affects us all: climate protection as a global responsibility. World Climate Day once again emphasises that climate change is not a distant scenario, but a real, global challenge. The day is a call to take responsibility - in politics, business and society.

Climate protection means avoiding waste, reducing emissions, conserving resources and creating sustainable structures. Functioning cycles are needed in which materials are not wasted but recycled. After all, keeping raw materials in circulation protects the climate in the long term.

This requires not only a political framework, but also the commitment of companies, local authorities and each individual. Energy efficiency, sustainable consumption, a change in mobility and a functioning circular economy can have a major impact together.

We at the NEW LIFE initiative also see climate protection as a task for society as a whole. We are committed to the mechanical recycling of used tyres into valuable secondary raw materials and show how intelligent recycling can avoid waste, save COâ‚‚ and keep valuable resources in the cycle.

World Climate Day is more than just a symbolic date. It is an occasion to pause, reflect on our own contribution and set new impulses for consistent climate protection - now more than ever.
