Floor-resistant and perfectly sealed

When the MRH founded in 1991, the Cement industry boom. The upturn brought about by reunification created a high demand for cement, particularly in East Germany. The factories burnt through all the Tyreswhat was no longer allowed on the road. However, this was not entirely in the spirit of the Circular economy as the Federal Environment Agency in Berlin was keen to see. At least some of the used tyres were to be recycled in order to promote the circular economy in the automotive sector. MRH was therefore found as a company to support the pilot project in terms of Waste tyre recycling for Germany. Chancellor Merkel was Environment Minister at the time and said at the opening: "MRH's initiative supports the German government's efforts to find viable ways out of the throwaway economy and into the circular economy, including for durable consumer goods, especially in the automotive sector. I very much welcome the fact that a company from the new federal states is taking on an important role for the whole of Germany in terms of environmental protection."

Today, almost 30 years later, MRH is one of the largest Waste disposal company for used tyres in Germany. With the recycling plant, MRH has specialised in the recycling of approx. 20,000 tonnes of truck tyres per year. The rubber granules and rubber flours produced from this are known for their excellent quality and homogeneity and are supplied to well-known customers worldwide. The granules are mainly used for resilient coverings in the form of Fall protection slabs, Building protection, Anti-slip matsor Careers used in the stadium. The rubber flours are used in construction chemicals and in industry. There they are used in coatings, casting compounds, as a high-quality flexible filler and for modifying bitumen in the construction industry. Road construction used in asphalt.

This expertise acquired over many years as a product specialist has also been incorporated into the new company, Polymer Technik Mülsen for short. PTMhas been incorporated. This is where MRH's products are now turned into finished end products.

Here, too, the premise applies - not the quantity, but the quality and Individuality of the products counts. With its own CNC cutting, milling and peeling technology, rubber mats can be manufactured in any size and shape from two to 40 millimetres thick, depending on customer requirements. For the large-area, durable design of flooring, the sagu® flooring rubber tiles. Bitumen-free thick coatings from the sagu®-coating range are suitable for perfect sealing against moisture in many areas.

With the foundation of the Polymer Technology Mülsen MRH is the first group of companies in the industry to successfully Economic cycle from the collection of used tyres by MRH to the production of finished products by PTM.
