The Alliance for the Future of Tyres (AZuR), whose more than 70 partners include NEW LIFE, will be represented at the "Week of the Environment" in the park of Schloss Bellevue in Berlin on 4 and 5 June 2024. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) invite you to an attractive specialist programme, exciting discussions and a major innovation showcase all about a sustainable future.
AZuR will be presenting the benefits of a climate-friendly circular tyre economy at its stand. An AZuR expert forum, which will be broadcast live at THE TIRE COLOGNE, will focus on the sustainable transformation of mobility with retreaded tyres on 5 June 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00. A total of around 190 exhibitors will present their innovations and solutions for greater environmental protection at the "Week of the Environment" 2024 in the park of Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the Federal President. A high-calibre jury from the worlds of society, business and science has reviewed around 400 applications in a nationwide competition.
The Innovation Show is dedicated to highly topical aspects of climate, environmental and species protection: on 4 and 5 June, discussions and a talk by the Federal President with young people on the main stage as well as more than 70 specialist forums will provide fresh impetus and solutions. "It's about the central challenges of our time," says Bonde.
Topics include climate neutrality and energy security, hydrogen technology, biodiversity and resource conservation, sustainable change and social cohesion. Other topics include education, digitalisation, infrastructure and the economy.
The "Week of the Environment" was launched in 2002 by the then Federal President Johannes Rau and has since been organised together with the Osnabrück-based German Federal Environmental Foundation. This year, the seventh edition will take place in the park of Bellevue Palace, as it did last time, and is intended to inspire all participants to create a sustainable future.
