Roofs have offered people protection from the forces of nature for thousands of years. By covering and sealing roofs, roof terraces and balconies, converting attics, installing windows, insulating the building envelope, greening flat and pitched roofs and installing photovoltaic systems, the roofing and carpentry trades play a key role in protecting the climate. At the same time, the aspects of sustainability, environmental and climate protection are also becoming increasingly important to customers.
That's why we want to support schools, vocational colleges, guilds and training companies in the roofing and carpentry trades with the practical teaching of relevant content. From basic knowledge about environmental protection, natural resources and the circular economy to the latest practical expertise on sustainable recycling products for roofers.
Under the motto NEW LIFE goes to school, we have prepared an online teaching programme that schools, vocational colleges and training companies can use free of charge. Our modular teaching programme comprises eight lessons with varied tasks, educational films, educational games, interactive workshops and a quiz to test knowledge. The lessons can be flexibly integrated into lessons and training programmes.
Teachers and trainers can request a free school pack with material samples and product samples for the roofing and carpentry trades to make the teaching content clearer and provide even more practical relevance in training.
