Sustainability is more than just environmental protection - it means acting today in such a way that future generations can also live well. Local authorities - i.e. cities, municipalities and districts - play a central role in this. They decide how things are built, purchased, planned and managed and also act as role models for citizens. Many important decisions that affect our everyday lives are made by the municipal administration.
We want to support vocational schools, vocational colleges and training municipalities/authorities in providing tomorrow's municipal decision-makers with well-founded, up-to-date expertise on the importance of sustainability, climate protection, the circular economy and recycling products for cities and municipalities.
Under the motto NEW LIFE goes to school for administrative staff we have prepared an online teaching programme that vocational schools, vocational colleges and local authorities/authorities providing training can use free of charge. Our modular teaching programme comprises eight lessons with varied tasks, group tasks, educational films, checklists, learning games, interactive workshops and quizzes to test knowledge. The lessons can be flexibly integrated into lessons and training programmes.
Teachers and instructors can request a free school pack with material samples and product samples for use in municipal urban planning, horticulture, road construction and landscaping to make the teaching content clearer and provide even more practical relevance in training.
